The first lighting of your soy candle is the most important of all lighting. Allow your candle to melt to the edges of the container before extinguishing it, creating a so-called pool of wax (normally burning lasts 1 to 2 hours). Take care of the wick of your candle, it is important that it has the correct height to avoid burning the wax too quickly. It is recommended that it be 5mm high to burn correctly. Keep them away from the sun and heat. It is important not to leave your candles in a place where they will receive a lot of direct sun or near a heat source such as the kitchen oven. The lighting time of your soy candle is important, it is recommended that it not light for more than 4 hours per burn. Once turned off, let the wax rest until it completely solidifies. Avoid drafts, as these can affect how the wax burns and may create an uneven burn or a "tunneling" effect, which is when the wax does not burn to the edge of the container. Extinguish the candle properly, avoid blowing out the candle as this can cause the wax to splash out of the container or cause the wick to release soot onto the wax.
